Kathryn Atkins, Estate and Charitable Giving Strategist, began working with Corus in November 2017, as a client service specialist. She has worked with clients to develop financial plans for retirement and kids’ college education, in addition to planning for their legacy through both current charitable giving plans and estate plans. Previously, she has gained experience in a variety of jobs including, teaching personal finance to high school students at Lucas Christian Academy, financial planning as an insurance agent at Northwestern Mutual Life, and working as a hardware and software engineer for E-Systems.  

Kathryn graduated from Rice University with a BS in Electrical Engineering and a BA in Computer Science. After working for several years, she decided to change careers and graduated from the University of Dallas with an MBA in Personal Finance. Kathryn and her husband Chris live in Fairview, TX. They have three adult children, Bryan, Hunter, and Rebecca. Kathryn enjoys spending time with family and friends, learning about health and wellness, playing pickleball, and dancing.
