Jonela is a Tax Partner at Corus Family Wealth Advisors. She specializes in tax consulting and planning to closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Since starting in public accounting in 2006, Jonela has worked with a variety of clients and industries including, manufacturing, investment partnerships, family office, real estate, medical, FLPs, and trusts. In the ever-changing and complex world of tax law, she continues to stay on the cutting edge of the industry with a strong commitment to client satisfaction.

Jonela earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Tyler with honors and her master’s degree in taxation from the University of Texas at Dallas. She received her Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant certifications shortly after her graduation. She is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs and AICPA.  

Jonela was born in Albania but came to the United States as an exchange student in high school. She now lives in Frisco, Texas, and enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, and traveling.  Her favorite travel destination is the beach.
